Bollywood music is not just about rhythm — it’s about emotion, story, and timeless connection.
For Rajnitha, a talented singer and emerging actress, this connection runs deep. With a voice that bridges the golden era of melody and the vibrancy of modern sound, she’s quickly capturing hearts with every note.
When “Yaadon Ki Baraat” Sparked a Lifelong Love for Music
For Rajnitha, the journey began with the unforgettable melody of Yaadon Ki Baraat.
“The song’s beautiful melody captivated me completely. It’s a heartfelt family song that will always remain special to me,” she says.
Music was always in her home. Her late father, Mr. Raj Magraj, a celebrated musician and founder of Sheraaz Entertainers, inspired her to follow her passion. “My mother and brother are also musicians — it’s part of our family’s DNA,” she smiles.
Inspirations That Shape Rajnitha’s Style
“Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Kumar Sanu, and Alka Yagnik — they shaped how I listen, feel, and sing,” says Rajnitha.
Even without formal training, she brings authenticity and emotion to her performances. “I sing from instinct and feeling. My connection to the song matters more than technical perfection,” she explains.
That honesty gives her voice a raw emotional depth that resonates with listeners — the very essence of Bollywood.

Singing with Emotion and Purpose
“When I perform, I don’t just sing notes. I become the emotion,” says Rajnitha.
She visualizes the story behind the song — whether it’s about love, heartbreak, or joy — and pours those feelings into her performance.
This approach transforms her covers into emotional experiences. “Before performing, I picture the moment, the character, and the emotion. That’s what connects with the audience.”
Taking on the Legends with Grace
Covering songs by Lata Mangeshkar or Arijit Singh is no small feat. “It’s both pressure and privilege,” she says. “I want to honour the legends but bring my own soul into the performance.”
Her toughest challenge so far was Agar Tum Saath Ho from Tamasha. “It’s delicate yet powerful. The song tests your control and your heart at the same time,” says Rajnitha.
Even when faced with criticism, she stays grounded. “I respect people’s attachment to classics — but positive feedback keeps me going.”
Bridging Eras: Rajnitha’s Musical Vision
“I see myself as a bridge between eras,” Rajnitha shares. “I love the golden age of Bollywood but I’m also drawn to the fusion of new sounds.”
She dreams of collaborating with Vishal-Shekhar and Himesh Reshammiya — and one day, to sing alongside Shreya Ghoshal. “Shreya’s voice is magic,” she says. “Singing with her would be an honour.”
Beyond Singing: Acting, Dance, and the Art of Expression
Apart from music, Rajnitha shines as a budding actress and dancer. “The arts are my way of expressing emotion and storytelling,” she says.
Professionally, she’s a microbiologist and co-founder of NIVRAJ Entertainment, yet she continues to pursue music passionately through live shows, festivals, and events. “There’s nothing like the energy of a live audience,” she adds.

Balancing Life and Passion
For Rajnitha, balance means harmony between career and creativity. “Music keeps me centered,” she says. “I unwind by spending time with loved ones and watching old Bollywood films.” Singing is more than an art — it’s spiritual. “It’s my meditation,” she says. “Bollywood’s themes of love and hope heal me from within.”
The Road Ahead for Rajnitha
Looking to the future, Rajnitha hopes to lend her voice to Bollywood films as a playback singer. “It’s my dream,” she says with determination. “Covers are beautiful, but playback singing is storytelling on another level.” Her goal is to evolve without losing emotion — to blend the grace of classic Bollywood with the vibrancy of modern sound.
“I want to be a student and a storyteller,” she says. “Respecting my roots while growing my own voice.”
The Essence of Rajnitha
Rajnitha isn’t just a performer — she’s an artist who embodies the heart of Bollywood.
Her story reminds us that true music doesn’t come from perfection, but from passion, sincerity, and connection. Through every song, Rajnitha bridges generations, languages, and hearts — one soulful note at a time.
